We love a good story.

Our story began on an island in the Pacific Northwest where the fog hangs low over the water on winter mornings and the sun shines brightly through the trees on summer afternoons. Julie was ready to start writing her second series and Jen was eager to jump in and help make this dream come true.

After previous experiences with traditional publishing houses, we decided to publish the series independently and established Fog House Press to provide the same collaborative, high-end custom publishing services to other authors looking to tell their best story.

Jen and Julie still live on this sometimes foggy, sometimes sunny island, and you can often find them working at coffee shops, riding the ferry to and from the island, keeping up on the latest reads, and discussing how Jen really should try Pilates.

She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a graduate degree from DePaul University.

When she’s not busy with her family or writing books, you’ll find Julie working to master the reformer in the Pilates studio, volunteering at the high school, or watching reality tv… of any sort.
